Sustainability

We manage sustainability as an integral part of operational efficiency, corporate resilience and long-term value creation.

As the global logistics sector is reshaped by climate change, regulatory transformation and evolving stakeholder expectations, we at KARINCA Logistics treat sustainability not merely as a compliance topic, but as a core element of our business model and growth strategy. We manage our environmental, social and governance impacts through measurable objectives and regular monitoring mechanisms, with a focus on lower-carbon logistics, resource efficiency, a safe and inclusive workplace, responsible supply chains, ethical governance and digital transformation.

Our Sustainability Approach

Our sustainability roadmap is built around three strategic pillars:

01

Climate Action and Resource Efficiency

We address emissions management and reduction, energy and resource efficiency, lower-carbon transport and renewable energy opportunities as an integrated agenda. We monitor our greenhouse gas inventory under ISO 14064-1:2018 and work to improve environmental performance through route and load optimisation, intermodal solutions, energy efficiency and better resource use.

  • Emissions management and reduction
  • Energy and resource efficiency
  • Lower-carbon transport
  • Renewable energy
02

Safe and Inclusive Workplace

We regard occupational health and safety as a fundamental right and a strategic priority. Safe working practices, road safety, employee wellbeing, equality and inclusion, and capability development are managed as interconnected priorities, supporting a safe, fair and development-oriented workplace.

  • Occupational health and safety
  • Employee safety and wellbeing
  • Equality and inclusion
  • Capability and development
03

Governance, Ethics and Digital Transformation

We treat responsible supply chain management, ethics and compliance, data security and transparency, and digitalisation and innovation as core enablers of sustainable growth. Our policies, management systems and performance indicators are continuously developed within this framework.

  • Responsible supply chain
  • Ethics and compliance
  • Data security and transparency
  • Digitalisation and innovation

Governance and Accountability

Our sustainability governance operates under Board oversight, executive management and coordination by the Sustainability Committee. Sustainability is reviewed by the Board at least twice a year, while the Committee meets at least four times a year to monitor priority topics including emissions management, energy and resource efficiency, occupational health and safety, road safety, data security and supply chain performance. This structure connects sustainability objectives with strategy, risk and performance management.

Transparency and Reporting

We disclose our sustainability performance through an annual reporting cycle and integrate stakeholder feedback into materiality assessment and strategy development. Feedback from employees, customers, suppliers, public institutions, academia, civil society and other stakeholders is an important input to our decision-making processes.
